The Spring/Summer color trends for 2013
Foundation:
Dewey foundation is in. A variation to that would be a tinted moisturizer,
or even an oil free foundation, with a little less powder.
Eyeshadow:
Plums, bold metallics, bright colors, neon shadows, and pastels. A
variation for the smokey look is gold smokey shadow. The metallic shadows are
being applied as a single color over the entire lid, or with a hint of a softer
shadow (similar shade) in the outer creases of the lids. For a variation of the
bold metallics, soft shimmer shadows, and nude colors are still in.
Eyeliners:
The eyelines are varying from cat eyes, to super extended liner at the
outer corners, with less liner on the inner part of the eye. Also neon liners
are popular.
Lashes:
Ranging from super bold, long black lashes, thick lashes without length, to
neon colored mascaras.
Cheeks:
Blush is soft pink, and bronze colors, for a variation, mix bronzer with a
bright, (not too bright) blush, such as Your Name Brand's mineral blush in
Garden. Always be sure to blend downwards with a dry sponge. This helps remove
excess color, and softens your look.
Lips:
Lots of neon for the lips. Neon pink is being worn either over the entire
lip, or faded at the inner corners, and even blotted excessively. Corals with
high shine, rose colored, even semi matte.
Nails:
Ranging from soft pastels, lilacs, corals, peach/pink mixed, shimmer colors. Some are using one shade of polish on all nails, and a bold glitter polish on one nail (on each hand).
Hair:
Soft waves, low ponytails, or a low knot. Also a braided ponytail, or even
a simple braid in your hairstyle. For the best styling products that really
